A Message from Mrs. Fantaskey
A few weeks ago, we partnered with Doylestown Borough to assist in naming their snow plow fleet. The Borough asked the three borough schools to take part in the fun. Each of our homerooms selected a name to submit to the borough. To add a little fun, we asked our students and staff to vote on the top three for our school. We shared the top three names along with the names of all homeroom submissions to the Public Works Department. We are very excited to learn that two of the Doyle names were selected, as each driver selected the name for their truck.
The names chosen from Doyle were: Baby Snowda & Shovel McWonder Nugget
Baby Snowda - submitted by both Mrs. Gunning & Mr. Blair's homeroom
Shovel McWonder Nugget - submitted by Mrs. Travaglini's Class
In the coming weeks, the public works department will have lettering completed for each truck, and we hope to view the newly named trucks soon!
SNOW MUCH FUN!!

Winter Enrichment Begins Next Week
More communication will be sent this week to share dismissal procedures for parents and students when they come to pick up their children. As a reminder, classes end at 4:30 PM. We ask all parents to be prompt when picking up, as the office closes at 4:30 PM each day.
We are looking forward to a great experience this year!

We are so very proud of all of you!

St. Patrick's Day Staff Luncheon
We feel so LUCKY to have such amazing staff at Doyle. Let's celebrate our luck on St. Patrick's Day with a staff luncheon during the first day of spring conferences.
The luncheon will be held this year on Thursday, March 17th from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM in the Fab Lab for staff to grab in between parent conferences. We will be doing a Build-Your-Own-Salad Bar so are asking for all the elements to be donated to allow the staff to create their own meal.

Sparks NewsLetter
In a recent article by psychologist Louis Tay, he states, “Don’t push your children toward skills just because they pay well. Financial success is only one dimension of a fulfilling life.” Teaching our children to understand and value money can be a challenge in our world especially when we consider what is “needed” and what is “wanted”.
As part of our Career Education Program through the District’s Success Plan (Smart Futures and Naviance), we provide lessons and resources on various topics including “How Money is Used” in the primary grades, to budgeting, financial literacy and entrepreneurship in the secondary grades. These are important lessons to help your daughter or son see a path to their future goals and a means to attain those goals. Ask your student to log onto these platforms and show you what they are learning.
