George Corwin was the high sheriff of Essex County in 1690-1696 in Massachusetts Bay Country, but before that he was the captain of Salem village, where he hung people so he could own their land and he wanted to become a rich person. George Corwin was in a war against Quebec. He was known for being the sheriff and for being greedy all the time because he wanted people's lands.
