HOSA WEEK
Winston-Louisville Career and Technology Center has a very active and dedicated HOSA chapter. This year marks the 40th anniversary for HOSA. Students began the week by having James Webb, Director, to sign our HOSA Week Proclamation. Many of the students spent the day shadowing health care employees at Winston Medical Center for their support in the local chapter. Skylar Adams, HOSA President and Laura Verry spoke to the Rotary Club on their experiences and opportunities through HOSA. The students wore yellow ribbons in honor of childhood cancer and provided breakfast for family members with cancer for National Family and Caregiver Awareness Month. The HOSA chapter ended the week with HOSA spirit day by wearing their HOSA t-shirts and collecting money to donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
