Third, fourth and fifth graders reviewed inferring strategies in the library with the Chris Van Allsburg mystery, A Strange Day in July. They color-coded text evidence from the teacher-made story (Karen Haag) to show support for their answers.

A Boy and His Bunny
We read a humorous story in the K-1 rotation classes this week! This rhyming story was a fun start to our lesson this week. Some students even brought props!

KAPOW for April's Tech Club!
Mixed-age McWhorter students knocked the socks off cartoon-strip creation during April's Tech Club meeting! Using various online comic strip makers and a story map template, they summarized a book of their choice from the library.
