The answer keys for paper-and-pencil versions of the end-of-course and end-of-grade released forms were updated in July 2015 to include the item number, item type, correct answer (key) and the aligned standard.

In lieu of our normal Healthful Living Update, I would like to take a few moments to tell you of a focused effort on our part here in the Healthy Schools Section at NCDPI. Would you like a new, unique and exciting way to engage your students in hands-on/minds-on, experiential STEM education?
If so, we think we can help at Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center in Statesville, NC! We have offered programs since 1992 and have been an Environmental Education Center since 1993. Nestled within 1000 acres, we strive to promote education through the use of land and water as an outdoor classroom by using the unique diversity of lakes, streams, hardwood forests, and a variety of both plant and animal life found onsite.
Below is a list of our most sought after programs.

Attached is our newsletter that elaborates on length of programs, target age groups, combination programs available, number of students that can be scheduled and cost. Program description and NC Essential Standards will be supplied upon request. Should you have questions, please reach out to us and one of our staff will assist you.
Some of the programs can be offered at your site also with some modifications. Ask for availability.
