Windows 10 Update

Teacher devices at Sherwood are ready to be updated to Windows 10. Benefits to this update include extended battery life and better connectivity. This update takes more time then usual because it requires a "clean update". This means that anything on your device needs to be saved prior to the update and/or backed up to Google. If you do not know how to do this, you can call the HELP DESK 33333 and put in a work order (help backing up to Google/Prep for change to Windows 10).

This update is optional for Sherwood. If you would like to update your teacher device to Windows 10, please plan to leave it at the end of the day in the conference room on either Tuesday, February 16 or Thursday, February 18. Sign up for a date using this Google Form. Your device will be ready to pick up the next morning.

Brightbytes Survey Window OPEN this week!

Survey links will be sent to you this week for the end of year Brightbytes data collection window. The goal of this survey is show the growth and success of the Ignite initiative in year one. Teachers, students and parents at all Ignite sites will be surveyed. I will forward the teacher link to all certified staff and I will post the link on Facebook for Sherwood parents to access. Additionally, I ask that you promote the survey in your newsletters next week. Students in grade 3-5 will take the survey as well.
3-5 teachers-Please coordinate with Julie to be sure that survey is completed during your iTime. The staff and student participation goal is 100%!
