Important Reminders
1. Daily Zoom Classes
With only 7 weeks until Summer Break, please ensure that your child is attending zoom classes daily and is signing in on time ready for class. By every Thursday, your child should be checking for missing assignments and completing those missing assignments by Friday. Please help your child locate those missing assignments to complete.
2. April Star Reading and Math Assessments
Please have your child complete the April Start Reading and Math tests by Friday, April 16th. Please see class dojo message for details.
3. 3rd Grade End of Grade Testing
Your child will be coming to school to take the End of Grade Tests in May.
May 13th, 18th, 24th, and 25th are tentative dates for EOG Testing. Please keep these days open in May for End of Grade Testing Days.

5-26 Last Day of School/Early Dismissal
5. Please be sure your child is completing all learning responsibilities daily.
This includes each zoom class, paper copy of any assignment in weekly packets and/or paper copies of any assignment posted on Google classroom, google classroom assignments, google forms, google docs, razkids, dreambox, MobyMax math fact fluency, etc.
Please also ensure that all required paper copy of assignments have been turned in for grading through class dojo messages.

Math:
I can Organize, represent, and interpret data with up to four categories. (New Skill)
a. Draw a picture graph and a bar graph with a single-unit scale to represent a data set.
b. Solve simple put-together, take-apart, and compare problems using information presented in a picture and a bar graph.
This week, students will be focusing on creating bar graphs and solving adding/subtracting problems based on information from graphs.
Reading:
I can ask and answer such questions as who, what, where, when, why, and how to demonstrate understanding of key details in a text. (Review Skill)
I can find causes and effects in nonfiction texts when learning about Weather. (New Skill)
I can tell how specific images contribute to and clarify a nonfiction text. (Review Skill)
