Weekly Update
September 6th-8th, 2023
We hope you find this information helpful as we wrap up Week #1 at PHCS.
Elementary Updates:
Students practiced routines to ensure we are starting the school year on a positive note with the safety of all students and staff in mind. Bus routines, arrival routines, breakfast expectations, walking in the halls, lunch expectations, and finally dismissal routines were practiced each day.
The smiles, laughter and hugs remind us how amazing it is to be a PANTHER!
MS/HS Updates:
Our 7-12 Students began their day Wednesday with a quick visit in the auditorium. Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Cruikshank were joined with many Staff members to welcome our oldest students back for the 2023-2024 school year.
We reviewed Dress Code, Backpacks, Away for the Day, looking out for others and starting the year on a positive note.
Student schedules were passed out and students headed to their first period class. The Guidance Office is processing student requests as quickly as they can, we recognize schedule snafus are common and we will continue to work this week to ensure schooltool is accurate with period by period schedules.

All Things PAPERWORK:
We recognize how much information is sent home in the first few weeks of school. We want to prioritize teacher materials getting your fullest attention.
Our Week #2 Updates will include a Google Form so families can review various policies, electronically acknowledge and save a bit on papers going to and from home. We recognize this method doesn't always work for our family needs and will be happy to share paper copies and sign-offs to any family that prefers the hard copy to peruse.
