The mission of Cedar Grove Elementary is to grow our students into respectful, curious and productive citizens.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Recommitting to our goals...
New Year’s is typically a time when we all create new goals and resolutions designed to improve our health, well being and (hopefully) our daily lives.
As educators, we measure our years by a school calendar -- September through June. So January 1st represents an opportunity to remind ourselves of our purpose and the meaningful goals that we have committed to for the sake of our children. We thank you for your support in helping us achieve our goals which are designed to improve the outcomes for all students!
2021-22 Cedar Grove Elementary School Goals

COVID REMINDER
Keeping our students & staff healthy...
Parents and families: Please remember the commitment you made in September to keep your child(ren) home if they're experiencing COVID-like symptoms.
As per current guidelines, students must quarantine if they have tested positive for COVID-19, have compatible symptoms and have not tested for COVID-19, or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive.
If your child has tested positive for COVID-19 or began displaying symptoms as of 12/24, they are not permitted to return to school on 1/3/22.
If your child has been in contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, please see the following guidelines:
- 7-day quarantine with testing -- Unvaccinated persons can end quarantine after day 7 after receiving a negative COVID-19 test result collected between day 5 and day 7. Quarantine cannot be discontinued earlier than after day 7. With a negative lab test, students may return on day 8.
- 10-day quarantine without testing -- Unvaccinated persons can end quarantine after day 10 if they haven’t been tested for COVID-19.
Please email our school nurses with any questions or to report any COVID-19 cases. Our nurses will determine your child's return date, if a quarantine is necessary. Amy Liotti: aliotti@trschools.com or Jennifer Leone: jleone1@trschools.com.
See "Quarantine Exclusion Criteria" for more detailed information.
**Emails and phone calls will be returned on Monday in the order in which they are received. Please be patient as Mondays are typically a very busy day in the School Nurse's Office due to the increased level of parent contact.
WELCOME, MS. STEINHAUER
