We'd love for you to join us for the 2022 Allen Eagle Run! You may register up until the event, but if you register by February 23rd you will pay $30 as opposed to $35. If you would prefer not to walk or run, you can choose the sleep-in option. :-). My boys and I plan to run the 5K. My oldest son, Gavin, is running to win, while I'm just trying to do my personal best. :-). Registration information is included below.

Allen ISD Will Not Make Up the Bad Weather Days
Feb. 21 remains a student holiday/staff development day
Our parents and staff may be wondering if Allen ISD will need to make up the missed instructional time due to the school closures on February 3rd and 4thduring the winter storm. The short answer is no, this time will not be made up.
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) requires districts to provide a specific number of operational minutes in the academic school calendar, rather than a required number of school days. Allen ISD’s academic calendar reflects enough operational minutes to satisfy the TEA’s requirement, while also providing the district with the option to use accumulated operational minutes prior to using make-up days. Because of this factor, February 21 will remain as a student holiday and will not be used as a bad weather make-up day. Staff will continue to participate in professional development on this day as originally planned.
Valentine's Day
- Students will be exchanging Valentines with their classmates on Monday, February 14th sometime during the school day.
- If you choose to send Valentines, you must send one for every student.
- Since this is not considered a party, no room parents or visitors will be needed to support the event.
