- The highest Diamond Clover Level is Nebraska 4-H Gives Back. Find out more here: 4h.unl.edu/ne4h-gives-back
Achievement applications will be submitted by October 24th for judging.
Ambassador applications will close on October 24th.
Applications for any award or recognition are not required but are a great way to highlight the special activities that you do as a 4-H'er. Some higher level awards and recognition look great on a resume, and others can show your creativity or talent in ways that the normal schedule of contests and fairs is unable to showcase.

Youth Philanthropy Grants Program
The Fremont Area Community Foundation’s popular Youth Philanthropy Contest is now called the Youth Philanthropy Grants Program! Still the same great opportunity for kids in grades K-12 to use their creativity, compassion and talent to make a difference in the lives of other... but funding is now available at any time YEAR ROUND!!
We are asking kids throughout the Fremont area to bring us their best ideas for making a difference in their communities. The Foundation may provide grants of up to $1,000 to help them make their ideas happen. We will also provide an adult mentor (from an area service club or non-profit organization) to help those with winning ideas complete their projects successfully.
We are looking for ideas that have a positive impact in the community, take place in our grant-making area, are charitable in nature, and - most importantly - engage young people in philanthropy!

A pre-application and full application is available on the FACF website. For help and more info contact Melissa or Leigh at 402-721-4252 or info@facfoundation.org.

October Club Meeting Idea
Looking for a fun club activity to engage the 4-H mind in October? Plan to visit a local pumpkin patch. Pick some pumpkins, bond as a group, and be creative making Halloween decorations. When you are finished, share your photos with us so we can let everyone know how much fun you have in 4-H!
P.S. For a club looking to add new members, this could be a great community activity - bring your pumpkins back to the city park to carve and decorate, and invite your neighbors to join!

- Pumpkin Hollow in Nickerson
- Camp Fontanelle in western Washington County
