Yearbook
There are many high school traditions that we enjoy each year thanks to the dedication and hard work of a teacher. This week our yearbooks (VESPA) came in, and I was reminded of how much time and effort go into preparing them. Thank you, Ms. Laura Parkerson for sponsoring our VESPA and for capturing memories for all of us to enjoy for years to come.
We also congratulate Ms. P, as she was recognized by our yearbook company Herff Jones with a Perfect Performer certificate of achievement for meeting all of her deadlines! Super job!
Senior Teacher
Each year the senior class votes for the teacher who has most inspired them during their high school years. The class of 2018 selected Ms. Leigh Barwick, and she was recognized by all of our seniors Wednesday. During her "acceptance speech," Ms. Barwick reminded them of the vocabulary term "scarcity" that they learned during her economics class and gave them a heads up that they would be experiencing a scarcity of some resources like money soon! Little do they know...
Ms. Barwick is very deserving of this award, and it is great to see a teacher committed to using vocabulary in context!
Mrs Bradshaw’s AP biology students participated in a Breakout EDU game to save the world from a deadly virus. We’ll know Friday after their second attempt if we will all survive or not!
