RACING TO PREMIER
It is that time of the year when we will have an opportunity to show the District and the State what Gonzalez is all about. You have worked extremely hard to get our students not only prepared for the next grade level, but also to take the STAAR test. Our students are ready and confident that they will succeed; I know that they have worked hard and will do their very best during testing days. As we strive to become the PREMIER elementary school in Dallas ISD,
- Remind our students that you are proud of them
- Be calm and actively monitor the testing environment
- Smile and follow the testing protocol shared by our Testing Coordinator
ATTENDANCE
THANK YOU
- Ms. Shelby and Ms. Edwards for their leadership and coordination of the testing meetings. They did an awesome job setting up the logistics of the testing environment. By doing so, we can ensure that our students get the best setting to be successful.
- Ms. Shelby and Ms. Tyler for their support and organization as they conducted the last ARDs and 504 meetings to ensure our students get the accommodations needed for testing.
- Coach Crawford and Mr. Balbuena for their leadership with the soccer teams. Our students continue to demonstrate commitment and represent Gonzalez very well. Our girls soccer team has won their last 29 games; way to go!!!
- This past Saturday, we had our last session for Saturday School. I know that our students are very lucky to have each one of you as their teacher. Last Saturday, we had Mr. Nazeri, Mrs. Yarbrough, Mr. Salazar, Ms. Trevino, Mr. Gonzalez-Perez, Ms. Anguiano, Ms. Valencia, Mr. Riser, and Ms. Rentowski. Also, kudos to Ms. Gomez and Mr. Nuno for supporting our students with the logistical part of Saturday School.
