Mill Valley Weekly
Thursday, January 23rd, 2020
Hello Mill Valley Families.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the parent satisfaction survey this winter. Mill Valley Elementary is dedicated to upholding our district mission of Every Student Learning, Growing and Succeeding. Your input on the survey gives us an opportunity to reflect upon our areas of strength and areas in which we can improve and grow.
We have recently received the results of your feedback and have done an initial analysis. Here are the areas you said were working well:
The school is clean and well maintained.
My child has the necessary classroom supplies and equipment for effective learning.
My child’s learning is a high priority at this school.
The staff has chosen to take additional actions in regards to parent feedback on school rules/discipline plans to ensure they are enforced consistently. Further communication will be sent home once we have a plan in place. Once again thank you for taking the time to fill out the survey. We value all of our families and will continue to grow in our service and dedication to you.
P.S. Enjoy your day off tomorrow. Teachers will be sharing their progress on Student Learning Objectives, engaging in Professional Learning Communities and will attend Mindfulness Trauma training during our Professional Development Day.

Attendance Matters
Is the snow keeping you home from school? Help your child learn to persevere. Today, she/he learns to overcome a snowdrift. In the future, he will have the grit to triumph over even greater obstacles to his/her dreams. Last year we had 0 absences to school due to weather from Mill Valley Elementary. Let’s see if we can keep that number this year.
It's time to order yearbooks!
