Estacada High School
Parent / Teacher Conferences
- Monday: Noon - 8:00pm Teachers will have a dinner break from 4:00-4:30
- Tuesday: 8:00am - 4:00pm Teacher will have a lunch break from noon-12:30pm
We look forward to meeting our parents and guardians and reviewing their students' progress as they work toward becoming proficient in the learning standards of each class. To aid you in your preparation for conferences, Superintendent Carpenter sent out this letter earlier titled Getting the Most Out of Parent-Teacher Conferences, I encourage you to read it.
Our success coach, Charlie Jones, will be in room 2 during the entirety of conferences to provide a space where students can come in and get help with homework. Even if students do not need help but just want a place to work, this is open to them.
As a reminder, there will be no school next week due to conferences and the Thanksgiving break.
Looking forward to seeing you next week.

Lockdown Drill
On Tuesday, November 13, the school conducted a lockdown drill. The purpose of these drills is to ensure that students and staff know exactly what is expected of them in case of an emergency situation. The district's Emergency Preparedness Plan is reviewed and updated regularly.
A lockdown occurs when there is a threat inside of the building.
We have a Run-Hide-Fight policy.
- Run and escape if possible
- Hide, if escape is not possible
- Fight as an absolute last resort
The Department of Homeland Security further explains the Run-Hide-Fight Philosophy here: https://www.ready.gov/active-shooter

College Application Week
During the two-day event, more than 70 seniors applied to over 80 colleges, and many seniors also began or completed financial aid and scholarship applications.
Also a big thank you to some local business who donated to this event:
Harmony Baking Company
Estacada Harvest Market
Franz Bakery
Northwest Technologies
And, of course, we could not hold this event without the tremendous support from our ASPIRE volunteers who put in countless hours behind the scenes so our students may reach their post high school goals.
