Welcome Mrs. Ferry as one of our New High School Administrators Welcome Mrs. Ferry as one of our New High School Administrators
I grew up in South Jersey and graduated from LaSalle University, in Philadelphia with a Bachelors in Secondary Education and Social Sciences. In 2005, I moved to Florida with my husband and began teaching World History at Gulf High School. The following year I began teaching Advanced Placement within the IB program. I have served as a PLC facilitator, World F.A.I.R. sponsor (a schoolwide fundraiser for international relief), National History Society sponsor, and AVID Content lead.
In 2016-2017, I was a finalist for Pasco County Teacher of the Year. The following year I applied and was accepted into the Gulf Coast Partnership Program where I served as the Administrative Intern at River Ridge Middle School. I recently graduated from the University of South Florida with a Masters in Educational Leadership. Personally, I have been married to my high school sweetheart for the last ten years. I have three small boys, ages 8, 5 & 3.
Congratulations to Mrs. Gricoski for becoming our one of our New High School Administrators!
I am very excited to be your new Assistant Principal at Cypress Creek starting this upcoming school year! I started working with Pasco County Schools in 1998 at Pine View Middle School, as an secretary in the guidance office. After becoming an instructional assistant in discipline at PVMS, I graduated with my Bachelors in Elementary Education in 2006 from Saint Leo University and transferred to a teaching position in November 2006. Throughout my experience as an educator, I have taught science, language arts, and math. I returned to Saint Leo for my Masters in Educational Leadership and graduated in 2011. I was accepted into Pasco County’s National Educator Program in 2016. In August 2017, I moved to Cypress Creek to teach math and was given the opportunity to be High School Athletic Director shortly after. Opening a new school has been a rewarding experience. I grew up in Tampa and moved to Land O’ Lakes in 1993. I have been married for 24 years and have three children, two girls and a boy. My two oldest daughters live in Tennessee and my son, the youngest, is about to graduate from Land O’ Lakes High School.
