2018 STEAM Maker Festival [Dec 1st from 10am to 3pm]

STEAM Maker Festival is a collaborative venue for students, educators and professionals within our community and industry to demonstrate programs, projects, practices and resources that enrich STEAM education. The STEAM Maker Festival is an opportunity for members of our community to come out and display their commitment to the outreach of STEAM programs and to show that SCIENCE and TECHNOLOGY can impact learning in fun and exciting ways.

2019 Sweetwater "STEM Research Fair"

Back in the good old days, we used to have "Science Fairs", in recent years we updated our event to its real name "Science and Engineering Fair", but NOW we are upgrading, revamping, and renaming our traditional science fair into "STEM Research Fair" to capture what the fair is all about - playing, discovering, and researching with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM)


This event will take place in February 2019 - Start planning & Be part of the change!

Camp NAWIC San Diego provides a unique week-long, hands-on approach to a construction career to high school girls at no cost to the participants. Campers learn the basic elements of various construction trades and develop a “can-do” attitude they can apply in many aspects of their lives.


Who can attend? Any girl from 9th through 12th grade
