Dublin Jerome High School
Take Responsibility, Always Growing, Better Together
August 19, 2022
A message from me...
We had an amazing first three days of school. Today was a very busy day with Chromebook distribution, class meetings and Freshman Assembly with Ted Weise. In our class meetings we had the opportunity to discuss the values and behaviors that will help guide us over this year and moving forward. We also has a special guest for our 9th and 12th grade, Dr. Marschhausen.
It was a great day and I am so proud of the students for their engagement and excitement. It is going to be a fantastic year! Have a wonderful weekend!
Picture Day: Monday Aug. 22
Pictures will be taken throughout the school day. Students will be called down by grade, alphabetically. We will have a make-up day for students in October.
- 1/2 day Tolles students should plan on taking their photos when they are in the building. Full day Tolles students can be photographed at 7:30 prior to getting on the Bus.
- Emerald Campus students can get their photos when they are at Jerome.
- All students should plan on getting their pictures taken, including seniors. These photos will be used for student IDs and our student information system.
- There will be a separate Senior Photo Day for the Yearbook later in the fall.

School Picture Day Information
Our first picture day will be on Monday, August 22nd. The pictures will be taken throughout the school day. We will have a make-up day in October. Please see flyer below for details.
Parking Pass Information
Parking pass information was shared with senior yesterday and will remain open until Monday at 8:00am. The reason it took a little longer to open the form was due to a waiver form update.
Student are permitted to drive to school in the first week without a pass. We will distribute passes beginning on Aug. 18 and will do so throughout the following week. Please feel free to email Mr. Pusateri
Here are some general details:
- Parking passes sold will guarantee a spot in the Brand Road lot, however parking each day will be on a first come, first serve basis. Because of ongoing construction and number of students traveling to Emerald Campus this provides us the most flexibility.
- All students should park in the Brand Road Lot.
- We will sell passes to Seniors, Juniors, then Sophomores sales will be ongoing through the first days of school. Once purchased students should display their pass.
- The cost of the parking pass is $60.00 for the year.
- DCS Driving Policy can be found on pg. 40 of the DCS Student Handbook.
School Meals 2022-23
During the last school year, children and families benefitted from no-cost school meals for all students, made possible by special permission from the United States Department of Agriculture. Unfortunately, these permissions have expired. Dublin City Schools and the Ohio Department of Education cannot extend the permissions for no-cost meals for all students.
School meals will still be available to all students; however, they will not be free to all students. Households may apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits - applications are available at: dublinschools.net - as was done before the pandemic. Eligibility for free and reduced-price lunch is based on federal income guidelines or participation in other programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Ohio Works First. For additional information concerning the National School Lunch Program, please see the U.S. Department of Agriculture school lunch question and answer webpage.
For the 2022-23 school year lunch prices for Grades 9-12 will be as follows:
- Breakfast: $1.50
- Lunch: $2.95
- Reduced will be $.30 and $.40 respectively
