All library books are due at this time. If you have lost a book, please pay the replacement fee listed on the note given to your child. Please do not send another store bought copy of the book as we cannot accept that. Our books are specially bound to withstand years of use and store bought books are not bound in the same manner.

Each week South Elementary would like to present a campus spotlight on a staff member so you, the parent, know a little more about our amazing team. This week's campus spotlight is:
Name: Veronica Castillo
What is your position? PK - 5th ESL Teacher
What is your alma mater? Texas Tech University
How many years have you been at South Elementary? This will be my 20th!
Name one thing you love about your job? I love that I get to work with the same students for a few years in a row.
What do you do in your spare time? The majority of my spare time is spent watching my children participate in the activities they love: tennis, drumline-band, and golf. When not doing that, I binge watch Netflix and such :)
What is your dream vacation? I love a beautiful beach vacation!
What are 4 things you cannot live without? I cannot live without family, friends, chips & guacamole, and a Dr. Pepper :)
