Advisories, Students & Families:
NP3 High School Fun Fact: If you have questions about NP3 HS please feel free to contact any of our HS Counselors. Did you know NP3 HS has three amazing School Counselors to help support the HS students? They each have less than 200 students on their caseload! That is unheard of in California. Goooooo Counseling!
Booster Meeting: The next booster meeting will be on Feb 13 6:30pm. Snacks are provided! All are welcome!
NP3 Winter Drive K-12: NP3 students and families can donate winter items for those in need. Donation boxes will be in the front office and the items will be given to the Sacramento Food Bank and Family Services. Examples are: blankets, jackets, gloves, scarfs, etc. No food please. The drive will end Jan 31.
Academic Talent Search Testing (ATS): Is your student interested in getting a taste of the college experience? Academic Talent Search (ATS) offers 4th-9th graders (grade level as of Jan. 1, 2017) exciting summer courses at Sacramento State! Choose from classes like creative computing, messy science, law, neuroscience, and many others. At ATS, your student can spend the summer doing what they love, take classes on a University Campus, and make new friends who share their interests and passion for learning. To join these interactive and hands-on classes, your student needs to take the ATS Qualifying Exam. The test only takes an hour and there is no pass or fail, so there’s no need for them to stress! They MUST take the test to apply for classes, but they don’t have to apply if you change your mind. The Qualifying Exam will be offered at NP3 MS 2/3 at 1:30 pm. Registration forms are attached to this email and can be completed and turned in to your child's counselor by Tue 1/31. If you have any other questions, please contact your child's counselor.
