History
*First ascent were- Hermann, Buhl, Kurt Diembeger, Marcus Schmock, Fritz Wintersteller (Austia)-June 9th 1957
*Han Wang-Yong became the first Korean to climb all 8,000-meter peak
*1984-Polish climber Krzysztuf Wielicki soloed it from base camp to the summit and back down in 22 hours
*1994 Goran Kropp soloed in 181/2 hours
