Measure Q - 21st Century Teaching and Learning
Teachers received hands-on training from OnPoint with all the new technology they will get in their classrooms come September, as well as working with Mrs. Lainie Rowell from Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) on how to infuse technology into their lessons. It was a great week of learning for our staff!
Edison High came by to share their Sustainabots program and a few robots with our students. There is a program/club like this at all the HBUHSD schools, to include robotics and engineering. Mrs. Glembocki is shown "feeding" one of the robots!
Congratulations to all the students who earned the Honors Picnic! Students enjoyed the lunch and Italian Ice along with cell phone privileges and games. Thank you, PTSA, for supporting and volunteering for this event.

Eagle Scout Project
Congratulations and thanks to Tommy LaParne for choosing to earn his Eagle Scout ranking by building a new lost and found area for Dwyer. It took 120 man hours to design and build and he had a team of helpers to get it done. Way to go, Tommy!
Our APA Jr. students were treated to a performance of poetry - Edgar Allen POEtry that is - by HBHS APA. It was a great presentation that allowed our students to see what the high school students are learning!
