What are we learning this week?
This week in 3rd grade:
Math: This week we will continue Unit 4: Measurement and Fractions
This week we will focus on measurement while exploring mass, volume and capacity. The past few days we have experimented with mass and explored the metric system.
Math Games/ Activities:
Mostly Postie- Grams/Kilograms
Social Studies: We completed our science unit and are working on Social Studies again.
The students will learn about Personal Economics–In this unit, students will learn about money and budgets. They will understand how a personal budget is created and used.
Reading/Writing:
This month we will be working on our Holiday Traditions Report. Students will present this in front of their class, along with a visual prop (google slide, poster, photos, baked goods, etc). More information on this can be found in the homework section below. This will be due on Tuesday, December 11th!
