VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
The PTA is planning after school End of Year Celebrations for both 6th (on 6/14) and 7th (on 6/15) grades. We are looking for chairs to organize volunteers and snacks for each event. PICK UP YOUR BLANKETS!
Blankets from the blanket sale fundraiser will be available for pick up on Monday, April 11th after school. If you ordered a blanket, please make sure to have your child pick up their blanket after school in the front lobby.
ELEMENTARY ART NIGHT - Wednesday, April 13th
REMINDER!
Art Night is Wednesday night in the cafeteria. Please join your child during the time window in which you registered. Don't forget to visit the Book Fair in the Library while you're there. Credit cards will be accepted at the Book Fair during Art Night.
Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair will be held at OAS on April 12-14! All students (including middle schoolers) will visit the book fair with their classes. Please have a conversation with your child/children as to what they are allowed to purchase at the fair since a small selection of non-book items will be available.
Three ways to shop!

- Adults can pay in person with credit cardon Art Night (4/13) or during their volunteer shifts
Some of our teachers have elected to set up eWallets that their classes can contribute to for the purchase of new classroom books. If you would like to support your teacher's eWallet, please click on the attached document.
4th GRADE BIKE RODEO
On Tuesday, May 3rd the 4th grade students will participate in a Bicycle Safely Program provided by Orange Avenue School and the Cranford Police Department. The rodeo will be held from 9-11am in the Orange Avenue Pool Parking Lot.

Please be on the lookout for our next fundraiser for the 8th Grade Class of 2022. We are again partnering with Boon Supply as they have some amazing products and they donate 40% of every item purchased back to us. Please check out the catalog coming home this week with your student for many great eco-conscious gift ideas for the spring holidays (Easter, Passover, Mother's Day). The Impact of Technology and Social Media on Children and Teens and What to Do About it

John Mopper will present a real-world look at the impact of technology and social media, as seen through the eyes of an adolescent psychotherapist. He will also discuss ways to prevent social media bullying and provide parents with practical tips and strategies to assist their children in setting goals to keep themselves safe and healthy while online. Q&A will follow the presentation.
