I would like to thank: Romeo Kiwanis Club, Vera's, FAM's, Wendy's, McDonald's, Romeo Theater, Dollar General, Aurum Jeweler's, Romeo Middle School Store, Tubby's and Dairy Queen. A big thank you goes out to these teachers for writing these grant requests, in addition to the excellent work they do in the classroom, to enrich the students’ experience at RMS. Also a big thank you to the Foundation for Educational Excellence.
Book Club
The RMS book club has been reading the school year away! This bright group of 6th, 7th and 8th graders has read and analyzed several novels together this year. The club met once a week and members enjoyed great literary discussions, fabulous snacks and each other’s company. The group even walked over to the Kezar Branch of the Romeo library for a very important fact-finding mission. It was a fantastic year together. Although the Book Club has officially ended with the start of track season, readers are still encouraged to get together and share their love of literature!
