Mark received an email from a LC, and here is a bit of the message: "I cannot express enough my gratitude for IDVLA, his teachers, and you. Your help and support has comforted me more than I can tell you. I recommend your school to anyone discussing online options. Please pass my thanks to every teacher. I appreciate the care and concern everyone has shown."
Great job, Mark!

Here is what Mark has to say about this story:
I was working as the director of tennis at the Sun Valley Resort during the Summer of 2015, and I had an employee (Joe B) who had worked in the tennis shop over the past 2 Summers. Joe had just graduated from high school in San Francisco and was heading to Stanford following the Summer. Needless to say, Joe is a HUGE personality (actually an understatement) who would tell us story after story half of which seemed outlandish, along with his budding aspiration to become a politician and future president of the US .
One of the stories he told us was that Conodleeza Rice was his godmother (yeah right), and that I would be invited to his private high school graduation/ Stanford send off celebration dinner…
Well, as you would have guessed I was invited and was able to meet and spend an incredible evening along with Condeleeza Rice, who is in fact his godmother. I can say that Condoleeza Rice far exceeded any expectations and she truly is an incredible and smart woman. I will never forget having the opportunity to “hang out” with the former Secretary of State and share an incredible evening of good company, food and perhaps one too many drinks!
One more thing to add, is that I can guarantee that Joe will run for president one day and am certain he will make some political waves as he gets older. He is now a senior at Stanford and he promised me that I would be his next secretary of whatever I want…. now the tale may be getting tall!?!
