Happy Friday!

We had a wonderful week of learning! There is a lot of information for the upcoming weeks in this newsletter. Also, we have 4K and 5K registration available if you have younger Sharks ready to start school based on their age before September 1, 2023. We would love to have as many younger Sharks as possible! Send me an email if you have questions or need more information. Have a great weekend and we will see you Monday for a full 5-day week. :)

Committed to Success,

Heather Touchberry

Reading Corner - Nursery Rhymes and Songs

For our youngest learners learning to rhyme is a really important skill. Rhyming is a concept that helps children understand how sounds work together. Some children begin to do it when they are talking. They may say train, rain, pain and giggle. It is all a part of early literacy concepts. You can even make it a game to see if they can rhyme with you. Don't worry, there will be plenty of made up words. Sometimes, these bring giggles and fun to your conversations.

Here are a few links to rhyming games and nursery rhymes.
