NOTIFICATION: KEEP CELL PHONES AT HOME OR IN SCHOOL LOCKER
Parents, due to the increase of social media issues that our students are bringing to school, which in turn interrupts the instructional day, the following changes will go into effect once students return from the winter break. (Beginning 2nd semester-2022), students will have to either leave their cell phones at home or keep them OFF in their lockers until the end of the school instructional day—[ALL STUDENTS ARE ISSUED A LOCKER FREE OF CHARGE]. Students can also continue giving their cell phones to their homeroom teacher each day once they arrive at school. Cell phones and the use of social media postings are taking up a lot of instructional time and administrative time due to various postings; this results in taking time from your child's learning process. We ask that all parents join us in communicating this important information to their children.
1. Cell phones should not be kept in pockets
2. Cell phones should not be kept in a purse
3. Cell phones should not be kept in a bag
4. Cell phones should be kept at home or in school Locker
5. Cell Phones can be given to the homeroom teacher
Students have received consequences due to various postings that in turn created problems during the school day. If you need to get in touch with your child during the school day, please contact the school main office at 770-784-2934.

Georgia Milestones Achievement Level Descriptors (For Parents)
The four achievement levels on Georgia Milestones are Beginning Learner, Developing Learner, Proficient Learner, and Distinguished Learner. The general meaning of each of the four levels is provided below:
(Level-1) Beginning Learners do not yet demonstrate proficiency in the knowledge and skills necessary at this grade level/course of learning, as specified in Georgia’s content standards. The students need substantial academic support to be prepared for the next grade level or course and to be on track for college and career readiness.
(Level-2) Developing Learners demonstrate partial proficiency in the knowledge and skills necessary at this grade level/course of learning, as specified in Georgia’s content standards. The students need additional academic support to ensure success in the next grade level or course and to be on track for college and career readiness.
(Level-3) Proficient Learners demonstrate proficiency in the knowledge and skills necessary at this grade level/course of learning, as specified in Georgia’s content standards. The students are prepared for the next grade level or course and are on track for college and career readiness.
(Level-4) Distinguished Learners demonstrate advanced proficiency in the knowledge and skills necessary at this grade level/course of learning, as specified in Georgia’s content standards. The students are well prepared for the next grade level or course and are well prepared for college and career readiness.
If Your Child Say They Don't Have Homework They Should Be On These For 30 min.
