Thoughts from Mrs. Ambrosio
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for giving me the privilege of being a mom. I pray that you will help me be a beacon that shines the light of Christ to my children as well as the children that I come in contact with through the course of a day. You are the Light of the World and I pray that I will be a shining reflection of that light today. In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.
Dear Parents,
As we approach Mother’s Day Weekend, we reflect on the gift of motherhood and on the blessings of our children. Life in 2023 is hectic and often overwhelming, but having children grounds us and through our children, we are reminded of what is truly important. I wish all SMS mothers a blessed and happy Mother’s Day. May our Blessed Mother Mary guide and inspire us in our vocation as mothers and in our lives.
God Bless,
Rachel

Teenager Roy doesn’t know anyone in town after he and his family move to Florida. But he soon becomes curious about another local boy he sees running around barefoot, wondering if he needs help. Meanwhile, a clumsy but well-meaning police officer is trying to figure out who keeps vandalizing a nearby construction site. Based on the middle-grade novel, Hoot is a family-friendly comedy drama that encourages respect for nature and our shared environment, as well as highlighting the meaning of friendship.
