Coaching Network with Diane Sweeney
March 5, 2019
Coaching has become a buzzword in Education that has shown to have a huge impact on teacher practice, but how do we get the most out of the role of a coach, and the relationship between coach/principal and coach/teacher? Bestselling Author Diane Sweeney puts students’ front-and-center in her evidence-based Student-Centered Coaching Approach. She has found that by focusing the coaching goals around data-driven student learning, and not on fixing teachers, we can directly impact instructional practice and student achievement.
Join us for a day of learning that will leave you with practical coaching strategies and resources to be able to take back to your district to impact teachers and students. This session is designed for coaches, teacher leaders, interventionists, principals, and district leaders looking to increase student achievement through the coaching lense.
You can find more information on Diane Sweeney and her work at dianesweeney.com, which includes information on her latest venture in helping principals support Student-Centered Coaching in her book titled Leading Student-Centered Coaching available in June 2018.
