First Grade News

Week ending February 15, 2013

School Start Time

A lot of children have been arriving at school after our morning assembly. The first bell rings at 7:55am and school begins at 8:00am. The clocks at school are about 3 minutes faster than the time shown on cellular phones. Please set your clocks accordingly to avoid your child missing the important start to our school day.

Car Rider Info

Please remember that the car rider line forms off of Buffington Avenue and Hill Street. There have been some people that are turning in off of FM 149w. If you are unfamiliar with the car rider route, please ask for more information at the office.

Also, if your child is a car rider after school, remember that you must have your car rider tag displayed in your vehicle. Please DO NOT remove it until your has been placed in your car. With us not using the bull horn outside, the teachers at the stations do not know which kids belong at which poles and some of the teachers do not know the parents/vehicles. Thanks for your help in this matter.
