ELA Study Island Benchmark (3rd - 5th)
December 1st - December 19th

January 5th to January 23rd
In order to ensure district fidelity, students should not be assessed outside of this window.

Winter Break Reading

Similar to what we did last year, there will be a reading incentive to keep students reading over break. More information will be coming about this in the near future. Our hope is that by keeping students engaged in reading over the long break we can stop the regression sometimes evident.

A 1st grader moved from a level A to an I! She is in 2 reading groups, interventions, after school reading club and reading at home! All the extra effort paid off! Way to go, everyone!

The small mall and Pancake Breakfast were a huge success....especially Santa! Everyone had a great time. A big thanks to everyone who volunteered and gave up part of their Saturday!

Reading on the Road was also very successful! It's always great to see our students excited to get a new book for their home library! Thank you to all who joined us on the road!

Upcoming Walk-throughs

Our walk-through focus over the next couple weeks will be on Guided Reading. Please see the attached look for sheet.
