-Easy to read and easy to understand, Me and My Amazing Body helps children appreciate everything their amazing bodies can do.
-Help children realize the parts of their anatomy that they can and cannot see, what hold our bodies together, how facial expressions work, how our brain sends/receives signals, and keeping our internal organs healthy
-Great way to incorporate how we all have similar bodies, but we all are special just the way we are made, even if it's different than someone else.

Vocabulary:
Digestion: When your stomach breaks down the food that you eat
Blood: The brain needs energy from blood in order to work well. Blood travels all through my body
Bones: Underneath my skin. Together, all my bones form a skeleton which holds up my skin like how poles hold up a tent
Muscles: These are attached to my bones and stretch and shrink like a rubber band to help me move
Brain: Your brain tells your muscles to move, it is the boss of my body
Heart: A group of strong muscles in my chest that pumps blood all over my body
Lungs: When you breathe in, your lungs fill with air like blowing up a baloon
Skin: Covers my entire body and holds it together. Skin comes in many different colors and allows us to feel things.
