What are you thankful for this season?

A question that I look at closely at this time of year! With all of the things that have happened in the last couple of years, it is so important to look at what we are grateful for in our lives versus the difficulties that we have all faced.

I am so thankful for our amazing PHE staff this year. They have been through a ton of change and growth since school started, but have persevered. They are loving, patient, and dedicated to our students and each other.

Also, I am very appreciative of our students and community. You all have done so much to support our school this year. Thank you for your patience and kinds words thus far. They are appreciated!

If you have a PHE staff member that you would like to recognize or thank, please consider filling out one of these forms. We recognize ONE staff member per week for Leader of the Pack: Staff Edition. Also, here is a copy of our staff FAVORITE THINGS page. With the holidays quickly approaching, you might want to know what your teacher's snack or food of choice may be! ANNUAL PHE THANKSGIVING LUNCH ON Tuesday, November 9

Just a note that we will be serving our annual Thanksgiving lunch on Tuesday, November 9 during our scheduled lunch times. No action is needed on your part, but we wanted to let you all know so you can plan lunches accordingly. All students eat for free. Although visitors are not allowed on campus at this time, we look forward to this fun tradition with our students.

Donations Needed for C2 and PHE

You all have been amazing about donating items that we need here at PHE!

We wanted to reach out again and express a new need for the holidays. Our C2 students will be collecting Barbies, action figures, and new socks (student sizes) to donate to Blue Santa and Hill Country Ministries. As an entire campus, we will be collecting new underwear (student sizes) as well. The underwear will be donated to our LISD PTA Clothes Closet and Nurse Heidi. We will be taking donations up until December 10. You or your student may drop items off in the front vestibule in the blue tubs that are labeled. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Click here to check out our Unity Day video for PHE! The kids did an amazing job. Thank you to Ms. Arnold for teaching our students the song and to Ms. Thomas for organizing such a fun event. It was PHEnomenal to see all of our kids and staff together for the first time since March of 2020.
