Lily Appelbaum Malnik

She Describes death march from Auschwitz to Bergen-Belsen.

It was said to her and the people around her that Word came to us that we were going to evacuate Auschwitz. It is because the Russians were coming close by. She says in her testimony it was like a warrior zone. It ended up being called the death march because the ravines and the gutters, they were all red from blood.

Something she kept saying was: "we walked"
