Important! School Counseling Information
Dear Belmont Families and Students,
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we learn to navigate our distance learning programs and our role as school counselors during this time. With that said, PWCS Student Services has provided the guidelines and format on our role as school counselors, and I wanted to share this important information with you all If you any questions and concerns, please email me or Mrs. Choi - we are here for you and hope you are all safe and healthy!
- Work Hours: 7:55 am -2:55 pm every day. Mrs. Choi is only available Mondays and Tuesdays. Please note, we will be in meetings, trainings, and online learning.
- Email is the best form of communication dependent on the needs being requested. We will respond to your email in a timely manner.
- Translation services are available, please let us know.
- The website provides the most current information and optional lessons and activities to support your child(ren) at home.
- During this time, we will NOT be providing virtual mental health counseling, family counseling, group counseling, or therapy while school is closed. If these services are needed, please see the resources below.
- It is important that all stakeholders are properly informed about the legal and ethical guidelines of confidentiality in school counseling. As school counselors, we are mandated reporters, which ensures safety for all and adheres to best practices legally and ethically. Please refer to the information below.
