Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

What can you do?
Reducing, reusing, and recycling are three ways you can help your environment without ever spending a dime. They can be very efficient, no matter how involved you get. You could do anything from turning off the faucet when you brush your teeth, to creating furniture out of scrap materials.
How can I reduce, reuse, and recycle?
Reduce
Reducing means to use less of. A way you can reduce is to walk or ride a bike to nearby places rather than driving. This reduces the amount of fossil fuels that you use. Reducing is the best for the environment because you never take the things out of the environment.
Reuse
Reusing means to give something a new purpose. For example, you can punch holes in an empty two liter bottle and use it as a sprinkler or as a bird feeder. Reusing is the second best for the environment.
Recycle
Recycling is to convert something into a reusable material, where it can then be turned back into a new product. To recycle, you could begin a compost pile and turn organic materials back into fertile soil. You can also get recycling bins for paper, plastic, glass, and aluminum.
