Texting and driving has become to be a big problem over the past few years. Some people think that its not a big distraction but the percentages over the years have risen due to distracted drivers. Research says that texting and driving is the top danger for teens.
Texting While Driving: The New Drunk Driving
Texting while driving can do harm to you and others around you. Texting and driving is almost exactly the same and drunk driving. Majority of people say that texting and driving is unacceptable, but some people admitted they use their cellphone while driving. The amount of deaths from distracted driving is about 6,000 a year.
Is it Worse Than Drunk Driving?
Texting while driving is worse than driving drunk. This tells us that a person who is texting drives the almost the same as someone who is drinking and driving, or even worse. Most people who text and drive are high school students. Research says that texting and driving is the top danger for teenage drivers. The death percentages for distracted driving is greater than drunk driving.
Don't do it.
Don't get distracted from driving. Wait until you stop driving to check your phone.

Don't take any chances on texting and driving. A quick look down to your phone can cause an accident.
