MTMS Wolf Wire

Week of Feb. 4

Message from Melissa

This week is National School Counselor Week, and as I contemplate what I want to say I am struck by how varied the role of a school counselor is. From career exploration to scheduling, lunch groups to academic problem solving, suicide awareness and crisis intervention - the impact counselors have is woven into the fabric of virtually every facet of the school. Please join me in acknowledging Dave Anderson and Kara Olson - we have a fantastic school and these two help to make it so on a daily basis! Thank you Dave and Kara!

Please join us in providing lunch for our teachers during conferences on Thursday February 14th. The items requested can be sent with your student to school or dropped off in the office during office hours. We kindly ask that if you would like to provide a homemade soup that it be dropped off the day of before 1 PM as we do not have room in the school refrigerators. Also, no refrigerated desserts please.

It’s February – time for student council’s Candy Gram fundraiser. All this week, students can purchase Candy Grams during lunch for 50 cents each.
