An Extraordinary Place to Learn
A Message From Principal Wilson
We are quickly approaching the finish line and have only 14 days left in school. This has been an EXTRAORDINARY year at Randolph. This is largely due to the support we've received from our families and community. I would be remiss if I did not express my sincere gratitude to each of you for all you have done to ensure our scholars and staff had a successful school year.
We successfully completed the first three days of the Georgia Milestones Assessment and our scholars were phenomenal. They arrived on time eager to test, they were attentive, and did their best. We are so proud of them and excited about completing testing next week.
As the school year winds down, end of the year activities are ramping up. Please mark your calendars for the following:
Teacher Appreciation Week 2023 is May 8-12
We are excited to celebrate our teachers and all of the hard work they put forth EVERY day. If you would like to show your appreciation for your teacher please do so during the week of May 8-12. Our themed days for the week are:
Magical Monday - Send your teacher something that will make his/her day magical (ex. one or two of his or her favorite things)
Turn Up for Testing Tuesday - What is your teacher's favorite pastime? (ex. journaling, reading, exercise...)
Wellness Wednesday - What are your teachers favorite Healthy snacks?
Therapeutic Thursday - How does your teacher like to wind down? (ex. relaxing items)
Fun Friday - What does your teacher like to do for fun?
These are just suggestions, please feel free to celebrate your teacher however you choose to do so.
As we approach the end of the year, we have a number of events on the horizon. Please plan accordingly.
May:
3-11 - GMAS Assessment Window
12- Field Day
15- Fran Warren's Community Meeting 6PM at Langston Hughes HS

As we wind down the school year, I must thank each of you for your continued support of our school, scholars, staff and administration. It is such a joy to serve the Randolph Elementary School Community. I look forward to seeing you all at Field Day and the upcoming awards programs. Have a safe summer and thank you to our Dolphin families for being simply EXTRAORDINARY!

Principal Wilson, Proud Dolphin

Field Day and International Day Volunteers Important Registration Information
As we end the school year, there are a number of opportunities available to volunteer. In order to volunteer on our campus for any activity during the school day, you must be cleared by Fulton County Schools volunteer process.
We are excited to welcome volunteers back into our building this year! We love having volunteers in our building on a regular basis. Volunteers must be pre-approved and scheduled to support in areas of greatest need. Parents will not be allowed to volunteer in their scholar's classroom during instructional time to avoid distraction.
Please remember that if you are going to volunteer at Randolph ES in any capacity (in the classroom, in the media center, cafeteria, or at a school event, etc.) you must watch the volunteer video and fill out the volunteer form prior to coming to the building. Once you complete the training, it takes up to 48 hours to process your approval. All approved volunteers must re-apply for volunteer status every two calendar years.
We have a few upcoming events that will require your support. Please be on the lookout for information about STEAM Day, International Day and Field Day.
Please follow the link to Fulton County’s website, to complete the necessary volunteer online training and application. The link below will direct you to the district's volunteer process.
