Background of Amerigo Vespucci
He was born in florenceon March 9th 1451, he was also the third son in a cultured family. Although he was born in Italy, Vespucci became a citizen of Spain. In the 40s, Vespucci wanted to be famous so he decided to leave his business behind and explore before it was too late. He was married to Maria Cerezo and died on February 22, 1512 due to malaria.

Amerigo was said to have discovered America and it is named after him to! but since the continents had girls names so they had to make it feminine so they got America! Amerigo made many voyages back to the Americas and even set up some trades.
Impact on the world
Amerigo had a huge impact on the world, without him first of all, a not so important thing, the continents would not be named America! And we may not have known as much about this land as we know now and the many other indian tribes because Columbus didn’t travel that far in and set up trade. He studied many indians and traveled to America
