Counselor's Corner
In December, we learned about being caring. Please continue to speak with your child about caring for other’s feelings and being responsible with their words and actions. For January, the character trait is Citizenship. We define citizenship as obeying and following the rules, in order to make our school and community a better place. Citizenship also helps us recognize that we are all a part of the same community. The weekly character challenges of the month are:
· Demonstrate citizenship by following the rules of our school community.
· Demonstrate citizenship by talking with your parents about a current news story.
· Demonstrate citizenship by taking care of the school property.
· Demonstrate citizenship by helping someone if they fall or hurt themselves.
· Demonstrate citizenship by standing up for someone that needs help.
