the scientific revolution.
Who were the people associated with the change?
GALiLEO
Galileo discovered that a Dutch lense could see far-off objects. Galileo also discovered that the planet Jupiter had four moons, and that the moon had a rough uneven surface.
This shattered the theory of Aristotle.
Copernicus
Copernicus, like Kepler, believed that the sun was the center of the solar system. Copernicus studied this for 25 years, this is how he came up with the heliocentric theory.
Kepler
Kepler concluded certain mathematical laws that govern planetary motion.
one of Kepler's laws showed that this solar system was heliocentric, meaning that the sun was in the center and that the planets revolve around it.
