Happy Halloween MSMCS Families
MSMCS Information
Parent Conferences will be held October 31st. These conferences will be for high school and seminar classes. Seminar teachers will have some insight into college course progression as they have conducted grade checks. Staff will be available by appointment from 8:00am - 3:00pm by appointment. Staff will meet via Zoom, over the phone or in person to best meet your families needs. Staff will have 15 minutes for each individual PTC in order to meet the needs of all families. If you feel more time is needed please reach out to the teacher or staff to schedule a longer meeting time.

Seniors
Many of you have only college classes or college and course share classes on your schedule. Because of the nature of these schedules MSMCS staff does not interact with you on a regular basis to discuss grades, class support and options if you are facing challenges. To assist students with bridging the interaction gap we ask that all seniors complete the following grade reporting survey.
https://forms.gle/MnajBBY1SrGJUJ4v5
This survey is in no way punitive but rather meant to prompt students to share progress and discuss options if necessary. As always, we ask that you are honest and share to the best of your knowledge what grades you have at this time. The survey will provide MSMCS staff with a quick snapshot of your progress in your college classes and if you wish prompt MSMCS staff to help as the withdraw deadline nears.
If you have not scheduled your postsecondary planning meeting with Ms. Piatt you need to do so immediately! Parents are welcome to participate in the meeting and should plan for a full hour. Use this link https://calendly.com/rebecca-piatt/60-minute-senior-planning-meeting to set up your meeting.
Seniors the FAFSA opened October 1st, pay attention to the deadlines of schools you plan to apply to! Remember to update us on college admissions and scholarship status in the senior classroom.
