St. Patrick Catholic School
Principal's Weekly Newsletter
September 30, 2021
What an amazing week this has been! We invited parents, community members and business owners to St. Patrick Catholic School to interview our grade 3-8 students for leadership jobs within the school. Thirteen community members took time out of their day to interview 110 students. To say they were impressed is an understatement. The comments were heart-warming!
“This made my week!”
“Your students are truly amazing.”
“Such impressive young people!”
“Our world has a bright future with these students.”

Welcome to Father Ivan! He is quickly becoming a fixture in our school. He plans to join us often for lunch. He recently enjoyed visiting with grade 5 and 6 students and discussing the upcoming Pet Mass.

Pet Mass on October 6
October 4, 2021, is the Feast Day for Francis of Assisi. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and environment. He may be viewed as the original Earth Day advocate. St. Patrick Catholic School will honor St. Francis by having a Pet Mass on October 6th at 12:45 PM. Families are asked to bring their pets to the playground area for an outdoor Mass and blessing of their pets. Families will gather together with their pets during the Mass. Students will be dismissed at the end of Mass. We are excited to start this new tradition at St. Patrick.
*If the weather does not cooperate we will have Mass in the gym at 12:45 PM with the family pets.
