What are the Causes of the war in 1812 ?
The Americans were selling Great Britain and France good and the British wanted more and they did not want the Americans to sell France anymore goods so they started a partial blockage, so they started take each others goods, and then the Americans started sailing to Britain, and the British soldiers thought the Americans were Britain soldiers, and the Americans were leaving and they started kidnapping the Americans
1. What are the causes of the war ?
British and Native alliance .....
The Americans wanted to start a war with the British, the British went and got the Natives to join them in the war also, but after a while the British left and left the Natives with all the trouble on their sleeves.
2. Dolley Madison
Dolley Madison was noted for her social graces, which built up her husband (James Madison) fame as president, she also took the large painting of George Washington from the white house in Washington,DC on August 24, 1814 , the British took any useful things and riches, later on the Americans built the white house back into Washington,DC and its been up ever sense.
3. What are the effects of the war in 1812 ?
Effects: American men were pretty brave and did some impressing things all for the good of not themselves, but as the country, the war also broke the strength of the Native Americans who took sides with the British, but nobody won the war of 1812, the British was still viewed as the mightiest militia power of the time and the Americans still managed to beat them again.
