Shakespeare was born in 1564, and died on April 23, 1616. He wrote about 154 poems/sonnets and at least 36 plays. He wrote different genres like tragedies, histories, and comedies. Some famous pieces of his are Romeo and Juliet, Hamelet, Macbeth, and A Midsummer Nights Dream. He married Anne Hathaway and had three children, one who died at the age of 11.
Nobody knows for sure how he died. Some sugest that he was murdered, Kidney desease, or too much alcohol. He lived in a house that is now a museum. Shakespeare liked to act in his own plays. He invented words such as puke, assassination, bedroom, and bump. His vocabulary was 29,000 words. The average person has around 10,000 words. His language consisted of alas, hence, anon, perchance, aye, beseech, and morrow. He had another "bite your thumb", which was considered the ultimate insult
