Previous Communications
Arrival/Dismissal Reminders
- Arrival begins at 7:35, if your child arrives before that time they will be unsupervised outside the building.
- Please be sure to communicate with our office staff, and your child's teacher, should your child have a change in their normal pick-up procedure.
- There is no parking in the south parking lot during arrival/dismissal. This is the staff lot and reserved for visitors who have scheduled meetings.
- No turning left into, or out of, the north car loop onto Northland
- If your child is a walker please remind them to only cross at the crosswalks.
- Please be sure to pull all the way forward in the car loop when dropping off your child in the morning. This helps keep things moving and less traffic on Northland.
- Please do not block in the buses during dismissal, leave space for them to leave on time.
2022-23 Student Placement Procedures & Parent Input Form
- Intellectual: Achievement, with particular attention to math and reading, work habits, and study skills.
- Social and Emotional: Temperament, friendship skills, ability to work with others, learning style, and any special needs.
- Physical: Activity level, attention level, size, maturity, and any special needs.
We welcome parental input. It is very important to understand, however, that the right combination of students in a group is as important, if not more, than the match of a child to a teacher. Our children are learning to develop versatility in dealing with different styles of teachers and classmate. This is an important life skill. We respectfully ask you to honor the following in regards to placement of your child.
- Requests for specific teacher will not be honored. Final placements decisions rest with the principal and grade level team.
- All parental input must be completed using the below form prior April 15, 2022. You may also make your current teacher aware of any important information regarding class placements for next year directly.
- Because of the impact of staffing, we will not make final decisions regarding class assignments until August.

Panorama SEL Spring Survey
Dear Wilson Hill Families,
We thank you and your family for being our valued partners as we work together to educate the children in our district. As you may already be aware, building our well-being and social-emotional learning skills is an important goal for our school this year and every year. Over the next few weeks, students will participate in several exercises to better understand these concepts and to reflect on how they perceive these skills in themselves.
As we have done for the last four years, we will be asking for your child to reflect on his/her own mindsets and approaches to learning via an online survey. The survey shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to complete and will be administered during a two-week window from March 28 - April 8, 2022.
We are partnering with Panorama Education, a third-party vendor, to support us in administering these surveys. The survey content will ask students in grades 3-12 to self-reflect on School Safety, Teacher-Student Relationships, Sense of Belonging, Rigorous Expectations, and Self-Efficacy. Our students in grades 6-12 will also be asked to self-reflect on two additional topics; Diversity and Inclusion and Cultural Awareness.
Student voice matters to us, and their responses will provide invaluable insights into their experiences in how we can improve and adapt our instruction to meet their needs. If a student doesn’t feel like they have enough information to answer a question, they will be able to skip the item altogether.
If you have any questions about the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) survey, please don’t hesitate to contact us in the office at 614-450-4800.
Respectfully,
Principal Addy
Infinite Campus Unavailable April 11-13
Infinite Campus will be unavailable April 11-13 to transition services to Infinite Campus’ data centers. This move will help ensure Infinite Campus has minimal disruptions (outages) moving forward and will help keep our system up to date and secure.
After the move, starting April 14, the webpage link to Worthington Schools Infinite Campus will change. All of the webpage addresses on our Website and parent portals will be updated, but anyone who has bookmarked it will need to update their url. Families who use the mobile app will also need to reconnect the app to our district.
Thank you
