African Wild Dog
The Team Player
My thoughts on it.
Ugly as it may be, this is quite a unique species that stays mostly in the savannas and lightly wooded area of Africa and is a unique predator compared to its peers. For example, while the lion's hunting success rate is very low, the african wild dog has a high success rate since it uses teamwork and communication.
However they are endangered because their reputation for being brutal in their kills and the occassion killing of livestock has lead people to kill them to protect their livestock.
Interesting Facts about the African Wild Dog
Dominance is established without any bloodshed most of the time since most of the time they are relatives of each other. When it does act like this, the hierarchy is formed in submission and not domination.
