LCMS Weekly Newsletter

BOARD APPRECIATION MONTH
Parents,
I hope you had a great weekend. I am needing some feedback from our LCMS families. Our campus will be participating in a Winter 2021 ESF Diagnostic look into our campus and ways to radically improve student outcomes.
The ESF Diagnostic survey will serve as a critical component of the overarching ESF Diagnostic process. The survey will:
* Include the critical perspective of key stakeholders in the ESF Diagnostic process.
* Provide clear and valid data from stakeholders perspective to support campus reflection on their current practices relative to the Six Essential Actions.
* Make the diagnostic process even more effective by using survey data to signal areas for deeper exploration and analysis.

8th Grade Scheduling Meeting @ HS
We will conduct a parent meeting to provide information about 2021-22 Lubbock-Cooper High School course offerings. Parents of current 8th grade students are encouraged to attend the meeting on Monday, January 25 from 7:15-8:15pm to receive information and ask questions about all of the course options available to our students.
In an effort to maintain social distancing requirements, we would like to limit attendance to one parent or guardian per student. Masks will be required upon entry.
Color Guard Recruitment Information
Mrs. Baxter, LCHS Band Director, is inviting students in 9th-12th grade to join the LCP Color Guard. Her letter and recruitment information are below.
January Pirate of the Month
We are still needing parents to help out with our Basketball Concession stands. Please help as Admin had to cover the game and the concession stand last week. We do not mind assisting, but we could use some help.
If your child plays on the "A" team, please sign up for a time when the "B" team is playing. If your child plays on the "B" team, please sign up for a time when the "A" team is playing. You are allowed to attend the game if you are helping in the concession stand.
6th grade parents, it is never too early to get involved as well. This is a great way to help out.
